Shipping, destinations and why an item may be unavailable to you

Eligibility is decided per product and per destination, and it is decided on our side rather than at checkout. Here is what that means in practice.

Whether a product can be sent to a given destination is decided per product, not once for the whole catalog. Two items on the same page can have different answers, and that is normal.

The decision is made on our side and reflected in what you see. A product that cannot ship to your destination is not listed as purchasable there, so you should never reach the end of a checkout and be told no. If an item appears with a price and a stock figure for your country, it is a product we are set up to send there.

Destinations open and close as our fulfilment and documentation for a market change. An item that was unavailable to you previously may become available later, and the reverse is also possible. Neither is a change in the product itself.

Delivery time depends on the destination and on the method chosen at checkout, and it is quoted at that point rather than here, so the figure you see is the one that applies to your order rather than an average.

Import rules for research material are set by the destination country and by your institution, and it is your responsibility to confirm that what you are ordering may be received where you are. We cannot make that assessment on your behalf, and a product being listed is not a statement that your local rules permit it.
